Your role

As a (Senior) AI Lead, you will be responsible for the design, delivery, and management of complex AI projects.

You will:

Lead our young, highly motivated AI team of 3-4 people and inspire your colleagues from other departments (architecture, data engineering) to get involved in AI.

Develop and manage end-to-end AI solutions – from architecture and model development to deployment.

Work with modern LLM approaches, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, and agent architectures.

Assess business challenges and translate them into technical AI concepts.

Advise clients on AI strategy, roadmaps, and the responsible use of AI.

Design AI architectures on Azure (Azure OpenAI, Fabric, Cognitive Services, Databricks).

Lead multidisciplinary teams across analytics, data engineering, and consulting.

Conduct technical reviews and ensure quality, scalability, and security.

Co-develop ALYTCA’s AI frameworks, best practices, and internal AI standards.

Present complex topics clearly – from hands-on workshops to executive briefings.

What you bring

Several years of experience in machine learning, data science, AI engineering, or AI architecture
In-depth experience with LLMs, generative AI, Azure OpenAI, RAG, embeddings, and prompt engineering
Strong skills in Python, ML frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow), APIs, pipelines, and model architectures
Experience building AI systems on Azure (Fabric, Databricks, MLflow, Functions, vector databases, etc.)
Project experience in AI consulting, client engagement, or technical discovery workshops
Ability to develop hands-on as well as provide strategic advice
Convincing communication – technical with developers, clear and structured for business stakeholders
Ideally, experience in project leadership
Commitment to Switzerland (resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate)
